Sieht recht vielversprechend aus
Ramping Upgrades!
added 4/19/2005
What?
Version 1.10 of the Zero B firmware & version 1.10 of the E2 firmware are now available. Each version includes new firing modes and because of this there have been some changes to the user interface. The following lists include all of the changes that are not reflected in the current version of the Zero B manual or E2 manuals:
- The Mode option is no longer available from the Main Menu. The Mode option has been moved to the Setup Menu due to the fact that some of the available modes have to be tournament locked and the Setup Menu is only accessible by removing the grips and pressing the set-up push button.
- The Run Screen name has been replaced with the currently selected firing mode as follows -
SEMI - Semi-Auto mode selected
CLAS - Classic mode selected
PSP - PSP mode selected
MILL - Millennium mode selected
CFOA - CFOA mode selected.
TRNG - Training mode selected
- The Mode Menu has three new options - PSP, MILENIUM, and CFOA for compatibility with PSP, Millennium Series and CFOA event rules respectively:
PSP – This mode allows the rate of fire to ramp to a maximum of 15 bps (balls per second) once the trigger has been pulled four times at a minimum rate of 5 pps (pulls per second), and allows this rate of fire to be maintained as long as trigger pull rate is maintained. After the last trigger pull, the ramp can be restarted with a single pull if that pull occurs within one second. This mode is PSP and PA compatible.
MILL (Millennium) – This mode is the same as the PSP mode but without the 1 second ramp restart. This mode is compatible with the Millennium Series.
CFOA – This mode is the same as the Semi mode but the maximum rate of fire is capped at 15bps.
- Factory Ramp: When using frame in either PSP or Millennium mode the frame should be set at Factory Ramp (from the Factory Menu) as a good starting point for tuning the marker to ramp without bouncing.
When?
The new firmware is available now, but before you go packaging up your markers and sending them into us check to see if you can benefit by visiting the Eclipse trade stand at any of the following tournaments:
Max Masters Millennium Series Event 22nd -24th April 2005.
Orlando PSP Event 21st- 24th April 2005.
Tampa NPPL Event 13th-15th May 2005.
At all three of the above events, the firmware upgrade will be available free of charge to all Eclipse E2 and Zero-B owners.
Where Else?
If you are not attending any of the above events, you can send your marker into your nearest Eclipse Service Centre to get your firmware upgraded. The cost of such an Upgrade is £20 /30 Euros/ $40 plus return shipping. Please contact the relevant Eclipse dealer before sending your marker into them to clarify availability and return shipping pricing.
